Our leadership team oversees all projects in a given cycle and works to implement a long term vision for the organization.
Ranjani Sundar is a fourth-year chemistry major and creative writing minor from Naperville, IL. She joined EC in the fall of her second year and has worked primarily with non-profit organizations and educational systems in Chicago. As managing director, she develops initiatives for campus engagement and internal general meetings, while supporting leadership with their individual initiatives. She has worked in a wide variety of industries including healthcare startups, investment management, and management consulting while maintaining an interest in solving problems in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. She enjoys long-distance running, boxing, and hanging out in the med school Starbucks with her roommates.
Principal of Business Development
Harry Lu is a fourth-year studying economics. He joined EC in the fall of his first year and most recently lead an engagement for a major sports league in Chicago. As the Principal of Business Development, Harry cultivates relationships with potential clients and collaborates with them to develop project scopes. Outside of EC, Harry enjoys sports that seem dangerous but are actually perfectly safe, such as jet skiing, sky diving, mountaineering, and riding roller coasters.
Principal of Consulting
Pule (he/him/his) is a fourth-year Economics major from Cape Town, South Africa. He joined EC in the spring of his second year and most recently worked on a sports focused engagement. As Principle of Consulting he gathers feedback, builds relationship with potential employers, and develops pre-professional resources within the organization for all members. Elsewhere on campus, he’s involved with the Major Activities Board, a Metcalf Fellow within the College Admissions Office, and founder of UChicago’s Black Business Alliance. His prior summer experiences have brought him into the graces of McKinsey Silicon Valley and the Thom Browne New York atelier. He likes demi-couture, high-concept characters, and that uncomfortable space between the personal and the political.
Principal of Operations
Rutvij Bhise is a fourth-year studying economics and history. He joined EC in the fall of his first year and has led an engagement with a large worldwide charity. As Principal of Operations, he is responsible for directing recruiting efforts, developing consultant feedback and mentorship initiatives, and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the club. In his free time, he plays cricket and remains an often-disappointed Chicago Bulls fan.
